In 2012, I was finding myself within my social and professional arenas. There were rebellious moments as I realized my habits of the past were not in line with who I truly felt I was. I’m much happier, now. Please forgive my French, here, but this typographic sums up my realization this year.

My 2012 Year In Review
Master Cleanse: Day 2
By day 2 the waves of hunger pangs were fewer and less dramatic. I’m not going to cheat! I dreamed I ate potato chips without thinking and failed my cleanse… So dramatic! Haha. Otherwise, I slept like a baby and woke up before my daily 8:45 alarm. My body just didn’t want to sleep anymore!

November favorites.
I’m a little late with this post…but better late than never? I wanted to mention some things that have taken a spotlight in my routine lately.

Eyelash serum. “Kardashian!” That’s the catchterm I tried to remember to blurt to myself every night in the mirror after taking off my makeup. Remembering to say it was supposed to remind me to use my Revitalash serum every night, as I am desperate for “Kardashian” lashes. Having to remember one thing in order to remember another was probably not the most effective method. Instead, I keep this tube of KISS Eyelash MD next to my bed as a backup reminder to moisturize my eyelashes every night.
If Wealth Is a Culture, I Want to Be Steeped In It
I’ve been immersing myself in materials detailing how to change your mindset to accumulate wealth and maintain it. Such materials include Eban Pagan’s Self-Made Wealth program and viral articles like 21 Ways Rich People Think Differently Than Average People. I’ve been making sacrifices that I wouldn’t have thought about making months ago. It truly requires a lifestyle and mentality change. I’m still learning so much.
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.” —Albert Einstein

Labeling the world class as snobs is another way the middle class finds to feel better bout themselves and their chosen path of mediocrity. (link)
DIY Home Fragrance Using Cinnamon Sticks
This is so easy. On my last grocery run, I picked up cinnamon sticks. It’s fall, and cinnamon is one of my favorite scents. To infuse your home with a natural cinnamon fragrance (kiss those artificial, chemical diffusers goodbye), simply:
Place about three cinnamon sticks in water in a pot on the stove. Heat water to just simmering, then turn off water.
That’s it. The cinnamon scent should diffuse and linger in your home for a few hours. After that, reheat those same sticks at least once more to re-scent your home.

To my pleasure, the cinnamon scent lingered long after I’d turned off the burner and left home. I came home to my apartment smelling like a cinnamon latte!
Mmm. Enjoy!
